Voicing: SATB
Duration: ca. 4:00
$2.95 / copy
This creative arrangement of the beloved Christmas carol, with text by Christina Rossetti and tune by Gustav Holst, gives each section of the choir interesting material to sink their teeth into. Each of the four verses is presented by a different section of the choir, with the rest of the ensemble evoking the chorus of angels and archangels in the background.

Voicing: SSAATTBB, solo soprano, and reader
Duration: ca. 30:00
$9.95 / copy
This five-movement work, inspired by the composer’s journey with breast cancer, replaces most of the traditional Latin mass texts with the words of more contemporary English-language writers as it examines how hope, peace, and joy can exist alongside grief. The piece includes spatial elements (the soloist sings one movement from the back of the hall, and exits while singing in another) and extended techniques (the choir sings synchronized to the narrator, who reads a text in regular speech rhythm).
Texts include “In Lieu of Flowers” by Shawna Lemay, an excerpt from “The Silver Chair” by C.S. Lewis, and “On Death” by Khalil Gibran.
Note that the text to the third movement, “Puddleglum’s Credo”, is in the public domain in Canada, but not in the United States or the United Kingdom, and may not be performed in those jurisdictions. Please check your local copyright laws before ordering or performing.

Duration: ca. 8:00
Written for the first-ever collaboration between a Western choir and the sarangi, this piece explores a variety of choral improvisation techniques: individual repetition of cells, improvised duets, and cascading imitations.
